Franklin High School Mascot Change

On May 8, 2018, Resolution 5649 was passed, a Resolution that sought to change the school mascot for Franklin High School from "Quaker" to "Lightning". This was due to concern surrounding the term "Quaker", which is shared with a religious group. Although there was supposed to be a presentation at the Board Meeting on May 22nd, the presentation ended up occurring more than a year later, on June 11.
