Facilities Improvement Oversight Committee
The PPS Facilities Improvement Oversight Committee[1], formerly known as the Facilities and Operations Committee, was created to oversee all maintenance projects and expansions authorized by the school board for the district. This committee is an ad-hoc Board Committee, and serves in a fact-finding and advisory role, and will make recommendations to the Board. The committee is appointed by the PPS Board of Education and is made up of three school board members and one student representative. [2]
Following public meeting laws, the Facilities Improvement Oversight Committee meets as needed (the schedule is posted on the PPS Public Notice Page[3]), its agenda[4] is posted before the meeting, and is streamed on the Board's YouTube Channel[5].
