is called order we have directors const
am rose and Anthony Brown and Knowles on
the phone with me is Steve looking good
in his tie the board will now vote on
todays a business jemima's Huson are
there any changes to the agenda do I
have a motion and second to adopt the
business agenda so moved move by Paul
Anthony their second is their second
seconded by mr. Rosen miss Susan any
public comment and no is there any board
discussion on the agenda it's just yes
any discussion top this paul paul i
would like to say that again i think
that the real risk that the board needs
to be considering with this resolution
is the risk to children and i am not
persuaded that the resolution fits that
criteria at all it seems to me that it's
looking at a small financial risk and a
risk to people's reputations and i'm
going to come down on the side of risk
to children and i'll be voting against
it thank you Paul anybody else want to
say anything
I will say I think go ahead in I get to
two issues that we're dealing with and
relative to what Paul said one is the
resolution of this particular matter
which is what's before us right now and
the other is our own process of
evaluating how we got to this point in
this particular matter and what we need
to do as a district to make sure that we
have a process that we all feel
confident first and foremost protects
our students and staff agreed Steve I
agree with that Amy I do also thank you
julie i just like to point out because
discussions don't always take place in
this forum that the superintendent I'm
having trouble hearing is that Steve
this is me yeah I am maybe the mics
aren't on go over
I just wanted to point out that that's
one of the things that we have that has
come under our purview and that we're
going to ask the superintendent and have
asked the superintendent people have to
take a look at all of these procedures
having to do with complaints with
children with employees and so forth and
that we're also going to push this into
the Audit Committee where they will be
the board frontrunner in that and I just
wanted that to get out into the public
in this public meeting and I honestly I
personally think we should investigate
how this whole thing came down okay
